How
do I find the img src location (URL) of images in my Image Library?
PC USERS:
If you are a PC user, follow
these steps to retreive the IMAGE URL STRING of an image in your Image
Library:
1) First TEMPORARILY publish
your image to a page within your site in the normal way - i.e. by clicking an
"Add Image" button - while editing a page in the "Page Editor".
2) Then view the page in
your browser containing the image whose URL you want to retreive.
3) Right-click (PC users
only) the image in the page, and select "Properties":

4) Highlight the URL of
the Image and copy it (CTRL-C)

You can then paste the img
src location into your HTML code that you are using in your site.
MAC USERS:
1) First TEMPORARILY publish
your image to a page within your site in the normal way - i.e. by clicking an
"Add Image" button - while editing a page in the "Page Editor".
2) Preview the Page in your
website, which now contains the Image that you want to know the img src location
of.
2) Hold down "CTRL"
and Click the Image

a new window" from the menu that pops up. The Image will now be displayed
in a new window.
4) Highlight the URL of
the image in the address line of your Browser and Copy it to the Clipboard.
(This is the img src location of the image).
You can then paste the img
src location into your HTML code that you are using in your site.

How
do I access the Network Image Library?
I was told when I signed
up for a site that I could have access to free network images and files, where
are they at?
Thank you for the question.
Since your website is part of a Network -- you DO have access to the "Network
Image Gallery".
1) Go to your Page Editor
2) Click to Edit where you want to insert a Network Image
3) Click "Add Image" or "Replace Image" to open your OWN
"Image Library" screen.
4) Now click "Search" link.
5) Check the box that says "Include Network Images in your Search Results"
6) Now hit search button
You should now see all the
Network Images available for you to use in your website.
Hope this helps!

My images look fuzzy and pixelated. How do I fix that?
Whenever you use graphics
on the web, you need to make sure the images are optimized - so that they look
good.
The problem here is that
our system is having to "crunch" your image down to a size that will
fit in the page. For example you uploaded a very large image, and now you're
trying to display it as a smaller image. What happens is that your image pixelates
- and doen't look very good.
Our system supports 3 image
class sizes: Large, Medium and Small. You need to decide
what size you want to display your image in the page --- and before you UPLOAD
it, you need to FIRST save it on your Computer at the correct WIDTH.
Here are the image widths
that you should SAVE your images at BEFORE you upload them:
LARGE = 400 pixels wide
MEDIUM = 200 pixels wide
SMALL = 100 pixels wide
A lot of different software
programs allow you to resize images. You need to use some software on your own
computer, to save the image at the correct site - BEFORE you upload it into
your Image Library.

I selected to use a LARGE image in my page, but now it displays as a SMALL image
instead. How do I fix it?
The problem here is the
the LARGE image does not fit into the section of the page where you're trying
to display it. So our system has automatically defaulted to displaying the SMALL
image.
This often happens, for
example, in the columns in your Homepage. The Homepage columns are only 200
pixels wide. So if you try to display a LARGE image (= 400 pixels wide), then
our system picks the SMALL image (= 100 pixels wide) instead.
It is best to use MEDIUM
images in the columns of your Homepage as a compromise.

When I view my Homepage, the Text gets cut off at the edge of the column and
sometimes bleeds over the image. How do I fix it?
This is
actually a Browser issue with Internet Explorer for PC. Your page will look
FINE with a Mac, but when viewed on a PC - the text gets cut off at the edge
of the column and sometimes bleeds over the images.
What causes
it, is that you have the "Text Wrap" option selected - and there is
not enough space in the column for the text to correctly wrap arround the image.
All you
have to do to fix it, is to select a different "Text Alignment" which
does NOT have "Text Wrap". See screenshot:

What image file formats does the Image Library support? What types of images
can I upload?
You can
only upload the following types of images into your Image Library:
JPEG (.jpg)
files - no wider than 400 pixels (see question 2 above)
GIFF (.gif)
files - no wider than 400 pixels (see question 2 above)

I uploaded an Animated Gif, but now it displays as a black block on my page.
How can I fix it?
Our system DOES support
animated gif files. But the problem here is that you are displaying the image
at a DIFFERENT width to the width of the file that you uploaded.
For example - if your animated
gif is 500 pixels wide when you upload it, if you try to display it as a LARGE
image, it will display on the page at 400 pixels wide. Our system is not able
to "intelligently" resize Animated Gifs.
You need to decide what
size you want to display your Animated GIF in the page --- and before you UPLOAD
it, you need to FIRST save it on your Computer at the correct WIDTH.
Here are the image widths
that you should SAVE your images at BEFORE you upload them:
LARGE = 400 pixels wide
MEDIUM = 200 pixels wide
SMALL = 100 pixels wide
A lot of different software
programs allow you to resize images. You need to use some software on your own
computer, to save the image at the correct site - BEFORE you upload it into
your Image Library.
